How You Can Help

Winter Retreat is an incredible opportunity for you to have a chance to impact students' lives as they dive deep into their relationship with God. Winter Retreat is a large event with a lot of needs. This year we are praying for 75 students to participate in the weekend. We believe the retreat will bring in a lot of students and so will need about 40 adult volunteers throughout the weekend. There are opportunities for those who want to engage with students, as well as more behind-the-scenes tasks.

Volunteer Opportunities

Host Home (8-10 needed)
A loving family who provides a comfortable home for 8-12 students, plus 2 leaders on Friday night. (students sleep on the floor in their own sleeping bags or couches; beds or space for air mattresses for adult leaders is recommended.) The host home does not have to provide any meals.
Driver (6-10 needed)
Safely transports students to and from church & host home Friday night and Saturday morning, as well as an activity Saturday afternoon. You do not need to be available at all times to serve as a driver.
Hospitality (4+ needed)
Helps prepare and serve lunch at church on Saturday. (Opportunities to gather snacks and meal supplies prior to the event)
Set Up/Clean Up (5+ needed)
Helps set up and break down chairs, tables, and room arrangements and cleans up after students leave Saturday night. There are opportunities on Friday (late afternoon) and Saturday night.
